Nick Datoo has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Financial Advisor at the Federal Student Loan Consolidation Program in August 2015. Nick then moved to Toyota USA as a Sales and Marketing Consultant in the same year. Following this, they worked as a Business Consultant at CAN Capital and Flagship Merchant Services. Nick also has experience as the Director of Operations in Logistics and Account Manager at Bear Transportation Logistics. Lastly, they held the position of Director of Operations at the Dallas Texas Economic Development Corporation from May 2002 to June 2014.

Nick Datoo has a diverse educational background, with several degrees and certifications in different fields. In 1997, they attended Dallas College North Lake Campus, where they pursued a basic field study. Nick then went on to Tarrant County College in 1999, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Basic Skills and Developmental/Remedial Education. In the same year, Nick enrolled at Texas State University-San Marcos and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, which they completed in 2002. Additionally, in 2004, they attended Kaplan College and pursued the Leonard Hawes REAL ESTATE program, focusing on Real Estate Development. Lastly, in 2015, Nick obtained a Certified Sales and Marketing Consultant degree from Toyota University, specializing in Sales and Marketing Operations/Marketing and Distribution Teacher Education.
