Mark C.

Mark C. is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Geoscience Development Manager at Canacol Energy Ltd, Mark mentors development geoscientists and supports the growth of Colombian gas assets. With a strong background in unconventional resource geology and project management, Mark has held positions such as Unconventional Resource Geologist at CenseoCapital Corp and Geological Prospect Generator at Partners Energy Development Corp. Mark has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta and has held significant roles at Imperial Oil, Prairie Lithium, Cenovus Energy, and Athabasca Oil Corporation, focusing on oil sands resources and geoscience development. Mark holds a PhD in Black Shale Sedimentology from The University of British Columbia, alongside an MSc from the University of Alberta and a BSc from Swansea University.
