Bertram Richards

Bertram Richards is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in IT finance and vendor management, currently serving as the Director of IT Finance and Vendor Management at Canada Life since May 2022. Prior to this role, Bertram held several leadership positions at RBC from December 2013 to May 2022, including Director of Infrastructure Service Delivery and Senior Finance Manager. Earlier career highlights include serving as Financial Planning and Analysis Leader for Sabic Polymershapes from May 2010 to May 2013, and Business Manager at Rogers Communications from January 2007 to September 2009. Bertram began a financial career at Biovail as a Financial Accountant and has held various accounting roles at The Royal Conservatory of Music. Educational credentials include a CPA and CGA from respected Canadian accounting bodies, along with an MBA from Laurentian University and an accounting diploma from Sheridan College.
