Won Ng

With over 20 years of experience building successful high growth technology startups, Won brings a rare breadth and depth of experience to her role as COO. At Canalyst, she leads a stellar operations team spanning HR/People and Culture, Finance, Legal, IT, Office Management, and more. Together, they live out their joint passion for supporting people and businesses to thrive and grow sustainably.

Won has her B.ASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.Eng in Advanced Technology Management from the University of British Columbia. She has been instrumental in the growth and success of multiple startups, building and leading teams in Engineering, Services, and Operations, at companies like Bycast, which was acquired by NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP) and Eventbase (creator of event apps for premium brands). In her spare time, she advises startups and entrepreneurs, and indulges in various foodie and sports adventures with her husband and daughter.
