Michael Burns

Michael Burns is an experienced investor currently working at Canapi Ventures since March 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as Principal at Sway Ventures from February 2021 to March 2022. Michael also has a distinguished background as a Navy SEAL Officer with the U.S. Navy from June 2013 to August 2021. Additionally, Michael completed Officer Candidate School with the US Navy in early 2013 and worked as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley and a Player in Major League Lacrosse during 2011-2012. Michael holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley (Haas School of Business), a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Public Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
