Anuj Mathur is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance with a vision and commitment to provide the customers innovative life insurance solutions to manage their wealth and secure their financial goals.

He is a founder member and has spent over 13 years in various key roles in the Company, as Chief Financial Officer, Head of Risk, Compliance & Legal, before becoming the CEO of the Company in 2015. His area of expertise includes strong financial management, corporate governance and robust risk management. He played a key role in setting up of the business and its profitable growth, becoming achieving break-even in the first 5 years of the business and superior financial performance metrics. He has lead transformation in the Company, clocking 24% CAGR growth in last 5 years.

A firm believer of Customer First, he strongly believes that sustainable growth for the Company can only come with customer centric approach. He also firmly believes that the most valuable & critical asset for the Company are employees and strongly believes in giving opportunities to people to learn and grow in the organisation. A fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, associate member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and Commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He has rich experience of over 27 years ranging across automobile, IT, telecom & Insurance sectors.
