Tarun Rustagi

Tarun Rustagi is bringing over 20 years of extensive financial, operational and strategic experience. He joined Indian Life Insurance space in 2002 and worked with some of the leading Life Insurance Companies in India and overseas like Max Life, PNB MetLife, HSBC and AXA. Prior to joining this role Tarun was leading the Insurance Finance team in HSBC Global Finance Centre. He has held Financial Controller and Head of FP&A positions in PNB MetLife and Max Life and worked on areas like shareholders value creation, distribution tie ups, enhancing technology footprint and cost management. Tarun has been part of various working committees and working groups of Life Insurance industry on formation and interpretation of regulations and guidelines and recently was a member of working committee formed by IRDA on interpretation and implementation of Ind AS 104 (IFRS 4) in Insurance industry in India.

Tarun is a Chartered Accountant and has Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and joined Life Insurance Industry after working with E&Y and PWC during initial years of his career.
