Tim Matthews is currently the VP of Global Brewing at CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective, where they focus on enhancing the brewing experience through hands-on engagement with grain, hops, and flavor. Previously, Tim held various roles in brewing, including Head Brewer and Lead Brewer at Oskar Blues Brewing Company and an Assistant Brewer at John Harvard's Brewhouse. Tim started their brewing career at Mt. Begbie Brewing Company and has developed expertise in operations, quality control, and recipe development. Tim also completed a Craft Brewing Apprenticeship at the American Brewer's Guild and earned a Bachelor's degree in Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh.
