Michael Hill

Michael Hill has extensive work experience in project management and operations. Michael currently works at CANARIE as the Director of the Project Management Office. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of the Project Management Office at CANARIE and a Project Manager. Before joining CANARIE, Hill held various positions at Netcelerate, including Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Project Manager. Michael also worked at Bell Canada as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager for almost a decade. Hill started their career at Nortel Networks as a Project Manager - Billing and JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Project Manager - Business Systems. Michael began their professional journey at Global Knowledge as a Billing Analyst.

Michael Hill has a Bachelor's degree in BA from Queen's University. Michael also obtained an Accounting degree from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Schulich School of Business - York University. Additionally, they hold a SAP Financial Management & Accounting Certificate from Lambton College.
