Mor Cohen

Mor Cohen has extensive experience in genome editing and biotechnology, serving as Director of Genome Editing R&D at BetterSeeds from April 2019 to February 2024, where leadership of a diverse team and coordination of project planning were key responsibilities. Prior roles include Genome Editing Research Scientist at BetterSeeds, where expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 technology and experimental protocol development was honed. Mor's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biotechnology Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where also contributions were made as a Masters student, Research Assistant, and Laboratory Instructor. Earlier positions encompassed Office Manager at REAL IMAGING LTD and a Researcher & Analyst role in the Israel Defence Forces.
