Louis is currently the CEO of Canda, a company specializing in attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent for seed+/Series A & B businesses. Louis is responsible for building the company's reputation in the UK scale-up and VC/PE communities.

Prior to their current role, Louis worked as a Talent Advisor at Huckletree, where they collaborated with ambitious minds and problem solvers to create coworking spaces. Louis also served as a Portfolio Talent Advisor at GrowthBuilders, where they worked with scale-up cohorts in industries such as SaaS, Sustainability, Ecom, Fintech & Ed tech to solve corporate innovation challenges.

Louis co-founded COLLABZ - The In-House Talent Company, where they helped enable companies to deliver people-centric businesses that improve workers' quality of life. Louis also worked as an Agile workforce project director at Gattaca, leading the company's IR35 change management program. In addition, Louis held the position of TA Director / RPO Leader / - EMEA at Gattaca, where they provided HR and talent acquisition solutions for Mid-Large organizations with a high demand for STEM skills.

Earlier in their career, Louis was a Department Manager at Barclay Meade, where they played a key role in re-launching the company's professional staffing offering. Louis led the overall direction, vision, strategy, and culture of a department.

Louis Cross has a diverse education history. In 1996, they began their education at Mayfield Secondary School, where they obtained their GCSE degree. During their time at Mayfield Secondary School, they studied subjects such as Maths, English, Geography, Business Studies, Science, P.E, French, and History. From 2001 to 2003, Louis attended Southdowns College and earned a BTEC National Diploma in Business Management & Sports Science. In 2015 and 2016, they pursued further education at Staffing Industry Analysts and obtained a CCWP degree in Contingent labour strategy (gig economy). Additionally, in February 2020, Louis earned a Hiring Success Practitioner certification from SmartRecruiters.
