Most clients rank communication gaps, unknown changes, and expectation misses as their top frustrations when working on a home improvement project.  I AGREE!  There are always things that come along and change the plan (Hello Coronavirus, 2020!), but that doesn't mean the impacts and the consequences shouldn't be highly visible and discussed with the client so they can help make the best decisions for their needs along with the designer for the project.
