Before their time at Citrix, Maxwell was Manager of IT Strategic Sourcing at Kaplan for over 5 years. Maxwell was responsible for procurement’s performance and execution of plans while managing fulfillment operations of hardware, software, mobile device and wired line telephony.

Maxwell has also held positions at Reef Gear and Parker Hannifin. At Reef Gear, they implemented inventory controls, introduced new retail brands, responded directly to customer's and implemented the company's web based shopping cart. As Division Sourcing & Procurement Manager at Parker Hannifin, they led global sourcing and procurement activities while importing material goods from China, Japan, India, and South America while elevating customer service on-time delivery from 56% to over 90%.
