Sean B House

Sean B House has held various engineering and leadership roles since 2000. Starting at Microsoft, they were a Software Design Engineer Lead and Software Design Engineer. Sean B then joined Zumobi as a Director of Development and Chief Architect, Software Design Engineer Lead, and Senior Software Design Engineer. In 2011, they became the Director of Mobile Engineering at Zipline Games, where they owned and maintained the open source Moai game engine client SDK. In 2015, they co-founded Visual Vocal as CTO and CISO, defining the system architecture and leading the technical strategy. Sean B also served on the Board of Directors and assisted in fundraising efforts. After that, they were a Senior Software Design Engineer at Assist Inc. In 2020, they were an Engineering Manager at Axon, leading a team of engineers and performing candidate screening and hiring, employee supervision and mentoring, cross-functional and cross-team coordination, and product planning and scheduling. Sean B also joined Asha AI as a Technical Advisor, providing guidance on technical matters such as mobile design and development, Amazon Echo Skill capabilities and general software development practices. Currently, Sean B House is the Vice President of Engineering at Candidate.

Sean B House attended The University of Kansas, where they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
