Candle is passionate about Religious Studies and Philosophy; we run the most popular events for students of A Level Religious Studies, GCSE RS and their equivalents, both in the UK and overseas. We also run Bespoke Events in schools and Online Events and well as Teacher CPD INSET conferences.

Founded in 2010 by Dr Peter Vardy (Vice Principal of Heythrop College, University of London, 1998-2011) and his wife Charlotte Vardy, Candle aims to help young people fulfill their potential by thinking deeply and well. Specialists in Religious Studies and Philosophy, Candle Conferences has worked with more than 100,000 young people and more than 1000 schools in the UK and overseas. Our events have become a rite of passage, the highlight of many successful schools’ calendars.
