Lisa Lester

Lisa Lester has over 8 years of work experience. Lisa began their career in 2012 as the Founder, Web Developer, and Marketer for Apeiron Review. In 2013, they worked as an Editorial Intern for Lightspeed Science Fiction and Fantasy and as a Freelance Copywriter and Freelance Copyeditor/Intern for WebFX. In 2014, they became the Communications Director and Communications Manager for Metal Powder Industries Federation, where they managed all websites, WordPress and DNN, and developed automated marketing campaigns. In 2017, they became the Owner of Hyperbole Soapery. In 2020, they worked as a Slack Engagement Manager, Email Manager, Freelance Marketer and Content Writer, and Content Writer/Strategist - Contract. Currently, they are an eCommerce Product Marketing Manager for CandleScience.

Lisa Lester has a diverse educational background. Lisa attended Clear Spring High School, followed by Hagerstown Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Web/Multimedia Technology. Lisa then attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a Writing Concentration and a Minor in Professional and Technical Communication. Lisa is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Integrated Marketing Communications with a Data Marketing Communications Specialization at West Virginia University. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Advanced Google Analytics, Google Analytics for Beginners, HubSpot Social Media Certification, HubSpot Email Marketing Certification, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification.
