Ryan Mattei is an experienced fiber procurement professional currently serving as the Alabama Area Fiber Procurement Manager and Residuals Lead for the CSP West Region at Canfor since January 2013. In this role, Ryan is responsible for all aspects of fiber procurement supporting three sawmills: Mobile, Jackson, and Fulton. Previously, Ryan worked as the Procurement Manager at Scotch & Gulf Lumber LLC from June 2010 to July 2017, managing fiber sourcing for the Mobile sawmill and overseeing standing timber accounts. Prior experience includes serving as a Procurement Forester at Gulf Lumber Company, LLC, from July 2006 to June 2010, where Ryan handled fiber procurement to meet the Mobile sawmill's log consumption demands. Ryan holds a Master of Forest Resources degree from the University of Georgia, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mississippi.
