Tom Thompson

Tom Thompson has extensive experience in the forestry and wood products industry, currently serving as General Manager Operations at Canfor since March 2022. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions at Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. from January 2011 to March 2022, including General Manager Wood Products and Operations Manager. Tom also served as a Council Member for the Town of Fox Creek from October 2013 to August 2016. Earlier career roles include managerial positions at Weyerhaeuser, Pope & Talbot, and Weldwood. Tom's educational background includes a degree in Wood Products Manufacturing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and training at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
