Brian Woods has over 20 years of work experience. Brian started working at Cannon in 1998 as a Sr. Associate Civil Engineer, specializing in drainage, grading, and utility preparation for various infrastructure projects. In 2009, they joined the Army National Guard as a Facilities Maintenance Officer and completed various training programs. In 2001, they also had a brief internship at Techint as an Engineering Intern.

Brian Woods attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. In 2011 to 2012, they completed the Basic Officer Leader Course at the United States Army Engineer School. Brian also has several certifications, including National Incident Management System - An Introduction and Introduction to Incident Command System, obtained from FEMA in June 2012 and May 2012 respectively. Brian also obtained certifications such as Commanders Safety Course, Additional Duty Safety Course, and Composite Risk Management Basic Course from the US Army in 2012 and 2011. Brian became a Professional Engineer certified by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs in July 2009. Additionally, they obtained an Adult First Aid / CPR / AED certification from the American Red Cross in September 2013.
