Mart Otten has a diverse work experience in the field of product management and consulting.
Mart started their career as a Consultant at VIM Group, where they provided advice on architectural brand elements, brand identity design, digital branding innovations, and retail interior plans for multinational clients.
In 2008, Mart joined Shimano Europe Group as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for global product development and marketing of the PRO brand. Mart worked on projects related to soft-goods, hard-goods, apparel, and electronics, collaborating with brand ambassadors for co-creation and product validation.
In 2010, Mart joined Cannondale as a Global Product Manager, focusing on e-mobility, urban, and recreational product lines. Mart played a key role in bringing the first-ever Bosch Ebike to market and expanding the Cannondale e-bike line.
In 2016, Mart moved to BMC Switzerland as a Senior Product Manager, where they took on end-responsibility for all Road and Lifestyle models. Mart managed the overall product lifecycle, led new product development, and worked closely with engineering, design, and brand marketing teams.
Most recently, Mart returned to Cannondale in 2021 as a Senior Global Product Manager, specializing in Road products.
Mart Otten attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2005. Mart graduated with a Dipl. Ing. // BSc degree in Industrial Product Development.
