Wayne Patterson has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and management roles. Wayne began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at FleetlinkGPS in 2007, where they created marketing and sales tools. In 2009, they became the Owner of Hell Pizza, where they worked in addition to their marketing role at 99 Bikes. At Hell Pizza, they managed the marketing for a network of 10 stores. In 2011, Wayne joined 99 Bikes as the Head Of Marketing and later became the National Marketing & Ecommerce Manager. During their time at 99 Bikes, they played a significant role in the company's growth and its tracking for a public float. In 2018, they joined R&A Cycles as a Marketing Director and was responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies. In 2019, they became the Marketing Director at Stretch*d, where they built and positioned the brand, executed marketing campaigns, managed digital advertising, and coordinated events and partnerships. Wayne then joined Common Grounds in 2017 as a Co-Founder, overseeing the development and maintenance of the Shopify website. Currently, they hold the position of Performance Marketing Director, Global at Cannondale, where they are responsible for digital marketing, e-commerce, and digital projects.
Wayne Patterson completed their high school education at Brisbane State High School from 1999 to 2003, earning a High School Certificate. Wayne then pursued higher education at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Marketing and Management.
In addition to their formal education, Wayne has also obtained several certifications. In September 2016, they completed the MW Mini MBA in Marketing program offered by Marketing Week. Wayne is also certified in Google AdWords Fundamentals, Google AdWords Shopping, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification, although the specific dates of achievement are not provided.
