Project Manager at CannonDesign

Amber Lang has over 14 years of work experience in the field of electrical engineering and project management. Amber is currently working at CannonDesign as a Project Manager, where they are responsible for managing projects in the MEP group and overseeing the Electrical Department. Prior to this, they worked at Beca as a Senior Electrical Engineer from 2016 to 2017. During their time at Cannon Design, they held the role of MEP Engineer 3 from 2004 to 2015, where they were involved in designing electrical systems for education and corporate commercial buildings. Amber also had an internship at Powrtek in 2003. Amber has expertise in designing electrical and low voltage systems in various industries, such as education, healthcare, and corporate commercial buildings.

Amber Lang earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering between 2000 and 2004. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In 2017, they obtained the CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) certification from IPENZ. In 2014, they became a Certified Commissioning Authority through the AABC Commissioning Group. Furthermore, in 2010, they earned the LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) certification from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter.
