Carl Schultz

Carl Schultz is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and management. Currently serving as Vice President at CannonDesign since December 2019, Carl previously held the position of Mechanical Department Manager at Salas O'Brien from January 2019 to November 2019. Notably, during a tenure at URS Corporation, an AECOM Company from 2011 to 2018, Carl was the National Health + Science Engineering Leader, where responsibilities included assessing healthcare and science/technology engineering strengths across the United States. As Vice President at Advanced Engineering Consultants from 2008 to 2011, Carl managed operations for a rapidly growing MEP consulting firm and oversaw significant federal contracts. Earlier roles at URS Corporation from 1995 to 2008 involved serving as Chief Mechanical Engineer and Director of Advanced Building Technologies, contributing technical leadership to a range of institutional and commercial projects while earning recognition through awards and publications. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
