David Hunt

David Hunt is an accomplished leader in the architectural field, currently serving as the Southern California Healthcare Practice Leader and Office Practice Leader at CannonDesign since April 2018. Prior to this role, David held the position of SVP and Director of Architecture Services at gkkworks from August 1991 to April 2018, providing architectural and integrated services across various sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Government within California, Colorado, and India. David's career began as a Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente, overseeing large-scale Healthcare Capital Improvement Projects from June 1986 to July 1991, following an initial role as a Designer at HOK from 1983 to 1986. Academically, David holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and pursued international studies in Denmark, along with completing a Management Development Program certificate at the University of Southern California.
