Michael LaVanier is an experienced architect currently working at CannonDesign since April 2021. Previously, Michael held architect roles at Corgan from June 2016 to March 2021, where responsibilities evolved from architectural staff to intern positions within the firm. Michael's design expertise was further developed at Studio 804 between August 2015 and May 2016, contributing to an upscale sustainable residential project. Additional experience includes a student intern role at Corgan in the summer of 2015 and carpentry work at M. LaVanier LLC during the summer of 2014, focusing on basic framing and general remodeling. Early work experience includes serving as the head guard for the City of O'Fallon from April 2010 to July 2014 and as a kitchen associate at Strathalbyn Farms Club from September 2008 to August 2010. Michael holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas, earned from 2011 to 2016.
