Michael McManus

Michael McManus is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Vice President and Director of Communications at CannonDesign since June 2015, where a creative team develops innovative storytelling strategies. Prior to this role, McManus was Communications Manager at HDR from November 2006 to June 2015, overseeing global PR and communications for the architecture group. A brief experience as a Loaned Executive at the United Way of the Midlands involved campaign implementation across 40 local businesses. McManus also held editorial positions at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's student newspaper and The Advocate magazine, enhancing writing and communications skills early in the career. McManus holds a Master’s Degree in Writing and Communication from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
