Federico Negro has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Federico currently serves as the CEO of CANOA, starting in December 2019. Prior to this role, they worked at WeWork, holding positions such as Senior Vice President, Head of Design from May 2017 to January 2019, and Vice President, Head of Design from June 2015 to May 2017. Before joining WeWork, Federico was a Partner and Co-Founder at Case Design, Inc from December 2008 to June 2015. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at Columbia University in 2012. Their earlier experience includes being a Project Manager at SHoP Architects from March 2006 to December 2008, as well as an Architectural Designer at the same firm from 2004 to June 2006.
Federico Negro pursued their education in architecture, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Federico attended this institution from 1998 to 2002. After their undergraduate studies, Federico enrolled at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they earned a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from 2002 to 2004.
