Kellen Samuelson

Director, Data Operations and Service Assurance at Canoe Ventures

Kellen Samuelson has extensive work experience, starting as a Summer Intern in 2007 at Mazz Enterprises. Kellen worked on creating a SolidWorks model for a safety device, studied the NOCSAE standards and researched allowable impact forces and accelerations of the human head. In 2008, they worked as a Summer Intern at Infinite Power Solutions in Research and Development, making and testing the LiteStar Lithium battery and performing electrochemical impedance spectroscopy testing. In 2009, they were a Summer Intern at Trane, where they learned HVAC technology, traveled to see equipment maintenance with service representatives, and learned HVAC-based software by analyzing energy efficiency. Kellen was also a Fall Co-op Student at The Dow Chemical Company. Since 2011, they have worked at Canoe Ventures in various roles, including Server and Application Administrator, Operations Engineer, and currently as the Director of Data Operations and Service Assurance. Their responsibilities included maintaining Canoe's footprint across their deployed Multiple System Operator's sites, logging tickets to MSO's individual Support groups, creating reports and scripts, and deploying web applications to automate analysis of data for Canoe's products while reducing repetitive manual tasks.

Kellen Samuelson attended the Colorado School of Mines from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. There is no additional education history provided.
