Hannah Heath is a dedicated student and professional currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marine & Geological Sciences at the University of Miami, with plans to attain a Master of Professional Science in Applied Remote Sensing at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science. Hannah's experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami, where support was provided for spatial data analysis and GIS mapping applications related to climate resilience. In the Oehlert Biogeochemistry Lab, ongoing research is being conducted on ichthyocarbonates and their ecological significance. As a Canon Coral Conservation Fellow, Hannah contributed to coral restoration efforts and educational outreach through the Rescue a Reef program. Additionally, an internship with Canon USA and a Research Assistant position at the Foraminifera Lab demonstrate a commitment to marine science and conservation.
