Andreea Munteanu

Andreea Munteanu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in AI/ML and data science. Currently serving as the AI/ML & MLOps Product Manager at Canonical since May 2020, Andreea has held various roles including MLOps Product Manager and Senior Growth Engineer. In addition, Andreea is a Data Science Ambassador for Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide as of February 2024 and previously hosted a podcast for Ubuntu AI. As the Founder & Head of Product at workation.land, Andreea focused on enhancing workplace productivity through travel. Earlier experience includes roles as a Data Science Consultant at Winfo, where Andreea developed successful predictive algorithms, and as a Machine Learning Researcher at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, developing innovative solutions for lip-reading technology. Andreea’s background also encompasses positions at Vodafone in data engineering and optimization, bolstering telecommunications insights and performance. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration and engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
