Ian C.

Ian C. is a Software Security Engineer at Canonical since October 2021, focusing on software security. Prior to this role, Ian served as an Adjunct Instructor at NJIT Ying Wu College of Computing from September 2016 to August 2022, teaching an introductory course in programming using Python. Previous experience includes working as an Info Sec Threat Hunting Specialist at TIAA from July 2017 to October 2021, specializing in detection, insider threats, third-party risk, and cyber threat intelligence. Ian has also held various technical positions, including Easy Tech Associate at Staples and Cyber Risk Intern at Deloitte, among others. Ian holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Privacy and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Network Security, both from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
