Chen Zhang is the Head of Claims for APAC at Canopius, a position currently held since 2025. Previously, Chen served as the Hong Kong Branch Manager and in the Claims - Asia Operation role at FM Global from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, Chen worked as a Risk Consultant at FM Global from 2015 to 2019 and was an Engineering Manager at the Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute from 2010 to 2015, where they mentored junior staff and coordinated with various stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions. Chen is also a State Registered Public Facility Engineer (HVAC).
