Derek Hansen

Derek Hansen has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Property and Underwriter for the Global Property account at Canopius Group since November 2009. Prior to this role, Derek was a Partner and Property Department Leader at Lloyd and Partners from October 2005 to November 2009. Additional experience includes serving as a Director at Price Forbes & Partners from January 2002 to July 2005, Senior Vice President at Marsh from 1992 to 2002, and Broker at Sedgwicks London from 1984 to 1991.
