Grover Lin

Grover Lin has a diverse professional background. Grover currently holds the position of Data Steward and Analyst at Canopius Group since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Quantium from August 2021 to December 2022 as an Analyst, and from February 2020 to August 2021 as an Associate Analyst.

Before joining Quantium, Grover gained valuable experience at The Australian National University. From January 2017 to January 2020, they served as a College of Business and Economics (CBE) Student Ambassador, where they assisted in promoting CBE and provided support to visitors. Additionally, from February 2019 to November 2019, they worked as an Academic Tutor for courses in economics.

In 2017, Grover was actively involved in The Actuarial Society ANU (ASOC). Grover held several leadership positions, including President from November 2017 to November 2018, where they focused on professional development and community engagement. Moreover, they served as the Corporate Relations Director from January 2017 to January 2018, actively seeking sponsors and organizing events.

Aside from their university experiences, Grover also gained professional exposure through internships. Grover completed a summer internship at Quantium from November 2017 to February 2018, working on data analytics projects. In addition, during the summer break of 2016, they interned as an Operations Analyst at Lalamove in their Hong Kong office.

Furthermore, Grover has experience in education, having worked as a Tutor at Big Improvements Tutoring from March 2016 to August 2016. In this role, they provided academic support in subjects such as Maths, English, and Science to students from years 3 to 13.

Grover Lin attended Saint Kentigern from 2007 to 2010. After that, they studied at Auckland International College from 2010 to 2013, where they earned an International Baccalaureate degree. Grover then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Studies and Economics (Honours) at The Australian National University from 2015 to 2019. Most recently, they enrolled at Macquarie University in 2020 and completed a program in Actuarial Control Cycle and Data Analytics.
