James Marron is the Group Head of Legal at Canopius Group, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as UK General Counsel at Howden Group Holdings and as Group Litigation Counsel at Hyperion Insurance Group from 2013 to 2021. Marron began their legal career at CMS Cameron McKenna, where they were a Senior Associate from 2003 to 2013, and also gained experience as a Lawyer at Miller Insurance Services LLP for a brief period in 2010. They completed their Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School and earned a degree in Law from the University of Leeds.
