Canopus Retreats was established in order to provide a new concept of lean luxury beach properties in the Maldives. The first guesthouse under the brand was opened on the island of Thulusdhoo, just half an hour from the international airport. Canopus Retreat Thulusdhoo (CRT) focuses on providing premium services to the growing numbers of budget travelers and backpackers around the globe.

Located in a prime beach-front area of Thulusdhoo, our 14-room property offers a spectacular view of the ocean. Dubbed 'Cokes' by local surfers, the surf at Thulusdhoo is one of the most famous and well-recognized waves in the Maldives. The only Coca-Cola factory of Maldives is in Thulusdhoo, hence, the name, Cokes, for the local surf on the island. This spot has seen many surfers, both local and international, battle it out for the best waves during surf season.
