Jin L.

Jin L. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Starting in 2004, Jin worked as an intern in the EE department at Yonsei University.

In 2010, Jin interned in the legal department at Hewlett-Packard, where they organized and filed legal papers.

From 2011 to 2012, Jin worked as an intern on the System Level Test Team at SanDisk, validating Fusion-IO products and developing tests using Python.

Jin then transitioned to a role as a Software QA Engineer on the Management QA team at SanDisk from 2012 to 2014, where they created and maintained automation code suites.

Joining Sling TV in 2016, Jin served as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, leading the QA team and creating an automation framework for testing content delivery systems.

From 2017 to 2018, Jin continued at Sling TV as a Senior Software Engineer, maintaining and developing Python code for backend content delivery and management systems.

In 2018, Jin joined Canopy as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of a complex microservices architecture. They also served as the Technical Lead, setting and educating on engineering standards.

Currently, Jin is still working at Canopy as a Senior Backend Engineer - Technical Lead, implementing feature requests and maintaining standards for the engineering group.

Jin L. completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2003 to 2007, Jin attended Seoul Foreign School, where they did not receive a specific degree or focus of study. Following this, from 2007 to 2014, Jin pursued Computer Engineering at Brigham Young University, specializing in Engineering and Technology. Apart from their formal education, Jin also obtained a certification called CWIP from Google in November 2017.
