Jin L. has over 15 years of work experience. Starting in 2004, Jin was an intern at Yonsei University in the EE department. In 2008, Jin served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, providing administrative and technical office support for the local mission office. In 2010, Jin was an intern at Hewlett-Packard Korea in the legal department, organizing and filing legal papers. From 2011 to 2016, Jin worked at SanDisk as a Software Automation Engineer, Software QA Engineer, and Intern - QA. During this time, Jin worked on the Management QA team to prototype, create, and maintain automation code suites, and also provided support for SMI-s, IBM Director, and Systems Center Operations Manager automation and testing. From 2016 to 2018, Jin worked at Sling TV as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in Test. In this role, Jin maintained and developed Python code for backend content delivery and management systems, and also created automation framework to test content delivery systems. Since 2018, Jin has been a Senior Backend Engineer - Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Canopy, where they develop and maintain a complex microservice architecture and implement feature requests. Jin has also set and maintained standards for an engineering group.
Jin L. began their educational journey at Seoul Foreign School from 2003 to 2007. They then attended Brigham Young University from 2007 to 2014, graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering in the field of Engineering and Technology. In November 2017, Jin L. obtained a CWIP certification from Google.
