Marty Glick is an accomplished biotech and medical device entrepreneur and executive. He was co-founder and chairman of the board of PEAK Surgical, a medical device company acquired by Medtronic. He also co-founded Eyetech Pharmaceuticals (IPO) and was EVP and CFO of Theravance leading up to their IPO. Marty began his biotech career as a leader in Genentech’s finance organization from 1987-1997.
Marty is a CPA and Chartered Accountant (Ontario, Canada) and holds an MBA in Finance at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Marty is in his eighth season with the Golden State Warriors, his sixth as special advisor to ownership. In this capacity, Glick is primarily responsible for advising ownership on major strategic issues including the development of the Chase Center, the team’s state-of-the-art sports and entertainment center and other major strategic initiatives such as the team’s COVID-19 response. He is also a board member for the Warriors Community Foundation.
Prior to assuming his current role in the summer of 2013, Glick served two seasons as chief financial officer for the Warriors, overseeing all financial strategy, planning and accounting for the organization. He is also a minority owner.
