William Minton

William Minton has worked in various roles in the education industry since 2008. William began their career at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber as a Policy Analyst in 2008. In 2010, they moved to the Big Buddy Program as Manager of the Arts and Leadership Institute. In 2011, they became Chief Academic and Program Officer at The Baton Rouge Youth Coalition (BRYC), where they created and executed a youth leadership program and helped high school seniors secure over $1 million dollars in scholarship offers. In 2012, they became a High School Social Studies Teacher at the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge. In 2014, they were Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America. In 2015, they Co-Founded the travel and education blog Letters From Elsewhere. In 2017, they were an Educational Consultant at the City/Parish of Baton Rouge. In 2018, they were a Consultant and Strategic Learning Catalyst at METROMORPHOSIS. In 2016, they founded Canopy Ed Consulting and in 2020 they founded CanopyEd, an all-in-one solution for organizations serious about the quality of their online learning.

William Minton received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. William then went on to Louisiana State University, where they earned a Master's degree in Public Administration.
