Neel Pawar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of machine learning and computer science. Neel is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer Specialist at Canopy. Prior to this, Neel worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, where they led multiple machine learning software projects and mentored other projects in ML software development. Neel also served as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Spotify, where they led a project on deep learning-based time-series analysis for Spotify Freemium users. Neel has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern - Computer Vision at Panoskin, where they developed XGBoost and RandomForest pipelines for probabilistic analysis of computer vision results. Neel has experience as a Machine Learning Instructor at Inspirit AI, where they led a team in developing a music recommender system using ML models. Neel has also worked as a Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering, focusing on the design of custom Neural Networks for solving fluid flow equations. Neel has additional experience as a Research Student and Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. Neel Pawar completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering from 2014 to 2018. Neel then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Research with a machine learning major and thesis at Carnegie Mellon University from 2021 to 2022.
