Orma Smith

Orma Smith boasts over 25 years of experience in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as CEO of CanopyNation since January 2018 and Senior Vice President at Simmons First Insurance Services since January 2007. In this role, Orma Smith is responsible for sales, service, and renewal of employee benefit plans, individual life and disability plans, as well as employee benefit consulting. Additionally, Orma Smith has been a Board Member at The Bank of Holly Springs since 1998 and at the C.A.R.E. Community Foundation since 2013, contributing to various committees aimed at community improvement. As a Trust Advisor for the Margaret Finley Shackelford Charitable Trust, Orma Smith supports wildlife preservation efforts and related charitable causes. Orma Smith previously held leadership roles, including President and Owner of theormasmithgroup, llc, and served as a Board Member and Past President of The Lighthouse Foundation. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Mississippi.
