Paul Bailey is an experienced maintenance professional with a robust background in mechanical engineering and maintenance technologies. Currently serving as Maintenance Manager at Canplas Industries Ltd since October 2014, Paul is responsible for managing CAPEX projects and overseeing the OPEX budget. Prior to this role, Paul held positions including Maintenance Supervisor, where duties ranged from scheduling machine repairs to motivating teams and coordinating vendor work. Experience spans multiple companies including Silgan Plastics as an Industrial Mechanic, where Paul specialized in repairing and troubleshooting various molding systems, and earlier roles at Graham Packaging and Amcor Flexibles focusing on machinery repairs and system troubleshooting. Paul holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technologies, a certificate in Industrial Mechanics, an Interprovincial Redseal as an Industrial Millwright, and a Refrigeration Class B Operating Engineer certification.
