Mark Watson attended Strodes Grammar School from 1973 to 1981, where they completed their O and A levels. Following their secondary education, they pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Studies at Kingston University from 1981 to 1984. Mark then enrolled at Nottingham Trent University, graduating with a 1st Class Honours degree in Industrial Management from 1988 to 1992.
In 1995, Mark Watson furthered their education by completing a degree in Accountancy from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) over a two-year period.
