Chris Mitchell

Chris Mitchell is the Chief Financial Officer at Canstar, Australia's largest financial comparison site, where they have been instrumental in transforming the business into a leading brand visited by approximately one million Australians each month. With a background that includes senior roles in the UK, Canada, and Australia, Chris has a diverse skill set developed through experiences in advertising, digital, financial services, hospitality, and research. Prior to Canstar, Chris served as Chief Accountant at Proximity London, Financial Controller at Pan Pacific Whistler, and held audit positions with various organizations, including Townsville City Council and PIS Audit Services. Chris holds several qualifications, including a Chartered Accountant designation and a degree in Accountancy and Finance from James Cook University. Additionally, Chris is a Council Member of the Queensland Regional Council for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
