Christopher Allan

Christopher Allan has extensive work experience in software engineering and management. Christopher currently serves as a Principal Software Engineer at Canto, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Mitchell International for seven years, where they held various roles including Manager, Delivery/Product Development, Senior Software Development Engineer, and Software Development Engineer. In these roles, they made significant contributions to system design, database design, backend/frontend implementation, and optimization of core estimating logic used by Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE). Christopher also worked on the alternate part sourcing system, automation efforts, API documentation, and the design of a caching system. Before joining Mitchell International, they worked as a Technical Consultant at The Tree Project.

Christopher Allan completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience from UC San Diego in the years 2003 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Artificial Intelligence from Heriot-Watt University, completing it in 2012 to 2013.
