Alexander Tack

Alexander Tack is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently at Canva since November 2021, Tack has held roles as an engineering manager, senior machine learning engineer, and machine learning engineer. Prior experience includes conducting research at Zuse Institut Berlin and software development at 1000shapes GmbH. Tack's research focuses on machine learning applications in analyzing and quantifying changes in cartilage, particularly for knee osteoarthritis, involving deep learning and anatomical shape knowledge. Alexander Tack holds a Dr.-Ing. degree from Technische Universität Berlin, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
