Anwar Haneef

Anwar Haneef is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in product management, strategy, and investment. Currently serving as the GM & Head of Ecosystem at Canva since April 2022, Anwar leads a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing developer and user experiences in visual design. Previous roles at Google included Head of Product Management for Firebase and founding Head of Product Management for Google TV, where Anwar significantly influenced major platforms used by millions globally. Anwar's background also includes founding and leading product management at IBM Watson for the insurance industry and directing customer experience advisory at PwC. Anwar holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Additionally, Anwar is involved as an investor in multiple ventures.
