Douglas Y. is currently the Head of FP&A, Marketing, International Expansion, and Growth at Canva, where they drive financial strategies for a rapidly scaling $4B+ SaaS business. Douglas began their career at Ernst & Young as an Accountant, followed by roles at Scentre Group and Merivale, where they established and led commercial finance functions. They were among the first finance hires at Canva, advancing through several key positions, including Senior Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner for Marketing. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
