Hamish Bultitude

Hamish Bultitude is a Senior Software Engineer at Canva, specializing in media platforms related to images, including uploads, storage, and permissions, and has played a key role in launching significant initiatives such as partnerships with OpenAI, the OAuth Platform, and the Public API. Prior to this, Hamish served as Research Staff at The University of Queensland, focusing on craniofacial superimpositioning, and held positions as Developer Student Club Lead at Google, where workshops on Computer Science were organized. Hamish also completed an internship at Canva and worked as a Research Scholar at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, conducting research on colorectal cancer and developing bioinformatics tools. An academic tutor at St Peters Lutheran College, Hamish provided tutoring in various subjects, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Biomedical Science from The University of Queensland.
